IBPS Clerk 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the IBPS Clerk 2026 (Customer Service Associate) recruitment must satisfy the following eligibility conditions:
Nationality
The candidate must be an Indian Citizen, or fulfill the nationality criteria prescribed by IBPS.
Age Limit (As on 01/08/2026)
- Candidates must be 20 to 28 years of age.
- Applicants should have been born between 2nd August 1998 and 1st August 2006 (both dates inclusive).
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
Educational Qualification (As on 21.08/2026)
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.
- The candidate must have a valid graduation mark sheet/degree certificate on or before the prescribed eligibility date.
Computer Literacy
Candidates must have basic computer knowledge and should possess a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Computer Operations, or have studied Computer/Information Technology as a subject in school or college.
Local Language Proficiency
Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the official/local language of the State/UT for which they are applying. A Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) will be conducted wherever applicable.
