Educational Qualification
The post-wise educational qualifications are as follows:
- Junior Engineer: Candidates must possess a 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized University/Institute or an equivalent qualification prescribed for the concerned JE post. RRB JE Medical Standards 2026
Candidates shortlisted for Document Verification will have to undergo a medical fitness examination conducted by the Railway Administration. They must satisfy the prescribed medical standards applicable to the post for which they are selected. Candidates found medically unfit will not be considered for appointment. RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Salary 2026
Candidates selected for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) through RRB JE Recruitment 2026 will be appointed in Pay Level 6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) with an initial basic pay of ₹35,400. In addition to the basic pay, they will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other admissible benefits as per Railway rules.
