IBPS Clerk 2026 - Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates applying for IBPS Clerk 2026 must fulfill the following eligibility conditions: 


Age Limit

  • Applicants must be between 20 and 28 years of age as on 1st August 2026
  • Candidates must have been born between 2nd August 1998 and 1st August 2006 (both dates inclusive).
  • Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and other reserved categories as per Government of India rules. 

Educational Qualification 

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they can produce proof of graduation on or before 1st August 2026. 

Computer Literacy: 

  • Candidates must have basic computer knowledge and possess a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Computer Operations, or have studied Computer/Information Technology as a subject in school or college. 

Application fee for IBPS Clerk 2026 

  • For SC/ST/PwBD candidates - Rs. 175/- 
  • For General and all other category candidates - Rs. 850/- 

Documents to Keep Ready Before Filling the IBPS Clerk 2026 Application Form

  • A recent scanned passport-size photograph in the prescribed format. 
  • A scanned signature (signature must not be in capital letters).

  • A scanned handwritten declaration in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Click on "Click Here for New Registration" to begin the registration process.

Step 6: Enter your basic personal details, verify the information, and click "Save & Next."

Step 7: Upload your passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

Handwritten Declaration for IBPS Clerk Online Application 

The text for the handwritten declaration, as mentioned in IBPS Clerk 2026 notification is as follows – 

“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
