SBI Specialist Cadre Officer Vacancy 2025 

The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a total of 59 vacancies for Specialist Cadre Officers (SCO) in 2025. These are distributed across two posts. The Manager (Products – Digital Platforms) post under MMGS-III grade has 34 vacancies reserved for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and UR candidates. The Deputy Manager (Products – Digital Platforms) post under MMGS-II grade has 25 vacancies, similarly distributed among all categories.

Post-wise & Category-wise Vacancy:

• Manager (Products – Digital Platforms) – MMGS-III: 34 posts (UR-15, OBC-9, EWS-3, SC-5, ST-2)  

• Deputy Manager (Products – Digital Platforms) – MMGS-II: 25 posts: (UR-12, OBC-6, EWS-2, SC-4, ST-1) 

SBI SCO Eligibility Criteria 2025 

Educational Qualification

• Mandatory: B.E./B.Tech in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication OR MCA with at least 60% marks.

• Preferable: MBA / Executive MBA.

• Preferred Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, NPCI Payment Systems Certification, RBI Certified Payment Specialist, CCIP, CISSP, PCI QSA, CRCP.

Experience

• Manager: Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in Digital Payments / AFC / FASTag / FinTech / Risk Management / CRM.

• Deputy Manager: Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in relevant areas.

Age Limit (as on 31.08.2025)

• Manager: 28 – 35 years

• Deputy Manager: 25 – 32 years

Age relaxation: 

• OBC (3 years)

SBI SCO Selection Process 2025

The selection process for the SBI SCO 2025 recruitment will be conducted in two stages – Shortlisting and Interview.

• Shortlisting will be done by the Bank based on eligibility, qualification, and work experience. 

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. 

• The interview will carry 100 marks, and qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank. 

• The final merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of interview scores. 

SBI Specialist Cadre Officer Salary 2025 

The salary for SBI Specialist Cadre Officer Recruitment 2025 is offered under the MMGS-II and MMGS-III pay scales. Deputy Managers will receive a basic pay starting at ₹64,820, progressing up to ₹93,960, while Managers will draw a basic pay starting at ₹85,920, going up to ₹1,05,280. In addition to basic pay, employees will be entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Provident Fund, NPS, Leave Fare Concession (LFC), medical benefits, and other perks as per SBI rules.
