SBI PO 2026 Handwritten Declaration
During the SBI PO 2026 online application, candidates must upload a handwritten declaration to verify the accuracy of the information provided in their application form. To be eligible for the SBI PO Recruitment 2026, candidates must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university as of 30th September 2026. The Main Examination consists of an Objective Test and a Descriptive Test carrying a combined total of 230 marks.

Descriptive Test (Communication Skills):

The Descriptive Test includes:
- Email Writing (1 out of 2 options)
- Situation Analysis (1 out of 2 options)
- Report Writing or Precis Writing (1 out of 2 options)
Each candidate must secure the minimum qualifying marks in every section of the Main Examination, including the Descriptive Test.
Candidates approximately three times the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for Phase-III based on their Main Examination performance.
Phase-III: Psychometric Test, Group Exercise & Personal Interview
Candidates shortlisted after the Main Examination will appear for Phase-III.
Psychometric Test:
- Conducted for personality profiling of candidates.
- Findings of the test are shared with the Interview Panel.
- All questions are mandatory.
- May be conducted in proctored mode or at designated examination centers.
Group Exercise & Personal Interview:

Final Selection
Candidates must qualify both Phase-II and Phase-III separately.
Final Merit List Weightage:

Important Points:
- Marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination will not be considered for final selection.
- Main Examination carries 230 marks, while Group Exercise & Interview carry 50 marks.
- Scores of Phase-II and Phase-III will be normalized to 100 marks.
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate normalized score.
- Provisional selection will be made from the top-ranked candidates in each category, subject to document verification.
SBI PO Salary & Benefits 2026
Selected candidates under SBI PO Recruitment 2026 will receive a starting basic pay of ₹48,480 per month (including four advance increments) in the scale of ₹48,480-2,000/7-62,480-2,340/2-67,160-2,680/7-85,920. They will also be entitled to DA, HRA, CCA, PF, NPS, LFC, medical benefits, lease rental facility, and other perks as per bank rules.
