SSC CGL Educational Qualification 2026
Candidates applying for SSC CGL 2026 examination must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution. For Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer posts, candidates having additional qualifications such as CA, CMA, CS, M.Com, MBA Finance, or Masters in Business Economics will be given preference.
For Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) posts, candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in Mathematics in Class 12th or should have studied Statistics as a subject in graduation. Candidates applying for Statistical Investigator Grade II posts must possess a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related subjects from a recognized university.
For all other posts under SSC CGL Recruitment 2026, candidates must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation can also apply, provided they obtain the required qualification on or before 01 August 2026.

Tier I examination will be conducted in Computer Based Mode consisting of objective type multiple choice questions.
