How to Apply for OSSSC CRE Recruitment 2025? 

The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) online application process for the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2025–26 is currently active at www.osssc.gov.in. As per the latest OSSSC corrigendum notice, the application dates have been re-extended to provide candidates additional time to complete their submissions. Applicants can now register till 6th March 2026 and submit their online application forms till 8th March 2026. The OSSSC CRE 2025–26 application process is entirely online, and no other mode of submission will be accepted. 

Steps for Apply:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) at https://www.osssc.gov.in/. 

Step 2: Scroll down the homepage and click on "Online Application of Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE)-2025. 

Step 3: To apply for this recruitment, there will be two stages: Registration and an application form. 

Step 4: Candidates need to register themselves by providing a valid email id and mobile number. 

Step 5: After registration, tap on Apply Online and log in by entering your Username/email ID and password generated at the time of Registration. 

Step 6: Fill in the required information in the application form, such as personal details, educational qualifications. 

Step 7: Upload documents (Photograph, Signature, Thumb Impression) in the prescribe format. 

Step 8: Cross-verify all the information provided by you and click on submit. 

Step 9: Pay the requisite fee as per your category.

Application Fee for OSSSC CRE 2025-26 

While completing the application form for the Combined Recruitment Examination-2025, candidates have to pay an application fee. The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/- (other than SCBC, SC, ST and PwD categories). The examination fee paid shall be refunded to the candidates who actually appear the recruitment examination.

Eligibility Criteria for OSSSC CRE 2025-26 Recruitment  

The eligibility criteria for OSSSC CRE 2026 define the essential educational qualifications and age requirements that candidates must meet to apply. Understanding these conditions is crucial to ensure the successful submission of the application. 

Educational Qualification: 

  • Revenue Inspector (RI): Candidates must passed Graduation (+3) in any discipline/equivalent with computer knowledge. 
  • ICDS Supervisor: Candidates must have a Graduation Degree (+3) in any discipline/equivalent examination. 
  • Junior Assistant: Candidates must have a Graduation Degree (+3) in any discipline/equivalent with computer knowledge. 
  • Village Agriculture Worker (VAW): Candidates must passed +2 Science or +2 Vocational (Agriculture/Horticulture/Power Driven Farm Machinery). Diploma in Agriculture Polytechnic under OUAT is desirable (candidates get 5% extra marks in written test). 
  • Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI): Candidates must passed 10+2 in any discipline/equivalent with computer knowledge.  
  • Amin: Engineering Diploma under State Council/AICTE with computer knowledge. 
  • Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS): Candidates must passed 10+2 in any discipline/equivalent with computer knowledge.

OSSSC CRE Selection Process 2026 

The selection process for the OSSSC Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2025–26 will be conducted in multiple stages to ensure fair assessment of candidates for various Group B and Group C posts. The recruitment process primarily includes a Written Examination, followed by a Practical Skill Test in Basic Computer Skills, and finally a Document Verification round for shortlisted candidates. Candidates must qualify each stage to be considered for final selection.

OSSSC RI Amin Exam Pattern 2026 

The Written Examination will be conducted in OMR or CBRE (Computer-Based Recruitment Examination) mode and will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The total marks allotted for the written test are 100 marks, and the duration will be 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes)

Stage I - Exam Pattern for Written Test:

  • Total Questions: 100 
  • Total Marks: 100  
  • Midium of Questions: bilingual format (English and Odia) except for language papers.
  • Level of Exam: High School (10th standard) level 
  • Exam Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes 
  • Question Type: Objective (MCQ) 
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer 


Subject-wise Distribution of Marks:

  • Mathematics – 20 Marks
  • General Studies – 20 Marks
  • English – 20 Marks
  • Odia – 15 Marks
  • Computer Knowledge – 15 Marks

Stage II – Practical Skill Test in Basic Computer Skills

After the written examination, candidates who qualify will be shortlisted for the Practical Skill Test in Basic Computer Skills. This test will be of qualifying nature and will assess the candidate’s computer proficiency. 

Exam Details:

  • Maximum Marks: 50
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Qualifying Marks: 40% for all categories


Stage III – Document Verification 

Candidates shortlisted after the Practical Skill Test will be called for Document Verification. They must produce all original certificates, mark sheets, and other required documents to verify their eligibility, age, and category claims. Only candidates whose documents are found valid will be included in the final merit list.
