- B.Ed. Degree or Integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
- Experience as TGT or teaching in recognized schools preferred.
2. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT):
Subjects – English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Sanskrit.
- Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- B.Ed. Degree from NCTE-recognized university.
- CTET Paper-II qualification preferred.
- Proficiency in teaching both in English and Hindi.
3. Primary Teacher (PRT):
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year B.El.Ed / D.Ed. (Special Education).
- Must have qualified CTET Paper-I.
- Knowledge of computers and bilingual teaching preferred.
4. Computer Instructor:
- B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science / IT or BCA / MCA / M.Sc. (CS/IT) or equivalent with 50% marks.
- Proficiency in teaching computer applications in Hindi and English.
5. Primary Teacher (Music):
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with 50% marks and Bachelor’s Degree in Music / Performing Arts from a recognized institution.
- Must have studied Music as a main subject throughout the degree.
- Knowledge of English, Hindi, and computer application preferred.
6. Regional Language Teacher (Odia):
- Graduate with Honours in Odia with 50% marks, or Postgraduate in Odia with 55% marks.
- B.Ed. Degree from NCTE-recognized university.
- Preference to candidates with strong Odia teaching proficiency.
7. Games Coach / Physical Education Teacher:
- Bachelor’s Degree / B.P.Ed. / BPEd (Integrated) from NCTE-recognized institution with 50% marks.
- Candidates who have represented at State/National level in Sports will be preferred.
8. Dance Coach:
- Senior Secondary or Intermediate with 50% marks and Bachelor’s Degree in Dance / Performing Arts.
- Experience in school-level performances preferred.
9. Special Educator:
- 10+2 with minimum 50% marks and a Diploma/D.Ed./PG Diploma in Special Education recognized by RCI.
- Must be registered with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and hold a valid CRR number.
- CTET qualification preferred.
10. Educational Counselor:
- B.A./B.Sc. in Psychology with Diploma or Certificate in Counselling from a recognized university.
- Minimum one year of experience in student counselling or guidance work.
11. Yoga Instructor:
- Graduation with Diploma or Degree in Yoga from a recognized institution.
- Experience as Yoga Instructor or Trainer will be preferred.
12. Nurse:
- Diploma in Nursing / General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution registered with Nursing Council.
Odisha PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalay Salary 2026
The consolidated monthly remuneration for contractual teachers and staff will be as follows:
- PGT: ₹27,500/- per month
- TGT: ₹26,250/- per month
- PRT / Computer Instructor / Special Educator / Sports Coach / Dance Coach / Odia Teacher / Yoga Instructor: ₹21,250/- per month
- Educational Counselor: ₹25,000/- per month
