Indian Air Force Civilian Group C Eligibility Criteria 2025

To apply for Indian Air Force Civilian Group C posts, candidates must have passed either Matriculation (10th) or Intermediate (12th) from a recognized board, based on the specific post. For clerical posts like LDC and Hindi Typist, a typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi is mandatory. Trade posts such as Cook, Carpenter, Painter, and Driver require relevant experience or technical qualifications, and valid driving license in case of Driver posts. The age limit is 18 to 25 years as on 15 June 2025, with relaxation for SC/ST, OBC, Ex-servicemen, and PwBD as per government rules. 

Educational Qualification:

• LDC / Hindi Typist: 12th pass from a recognized board. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer is required. 

• Store Keeper: 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board. 

• Cook (OG): Matriculation (10th pass) with a certificate or diploma in catering, and 1 year of experience in the trade. 

• Carpenter (SK) / Painter (SK): Matriculation with ITI certificate in the respective trade. 

• Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (OG): 10th pass with a valid driving license for light and heavy motor vehicles, along with 2 years of experience.

• MTS / Mess Staff / HKS / Laundryman / Vulcaniser: Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized board.
