ICAR-CRRI AFO Notification 2026, has been released on the official website to engage eligible candidate for the post of Agricultural Field Operator (AFO) on a contractual basis. The recruitment will be conducted through walk-in mode, and the interview is scheduled to be held on 14th August 2026 at ICAR-CRRI Campus, Cuttack. Candidates who have completed Matriculation with +2 vocational in Agriculture or possess Matriculation with two years of experience in the agriculture field are eligible to apply for the AFO post. Selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs.18,000 per month.

ICAR-CRRI AFO Educational Qualification 2026

• Essential: Matriculation with +2 Vocational in Agriculture or related subject. OR Matriculation with two years of work experience in the agricultural field from a reputed organization. 

• Desirable Qualification: Agriculture Farm Machinery Operation Skill Certificate from a recognized organization. 

• Preference: Candidates possessing a recognized Agriculture Farm Machinery Operation Skill Certificate will be given preference during selection. 

ICAR CRRI Agricultural Field Operator (AFO) Age Limit 2026

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 50 Years

• Age relaxation will be applicable for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Government of India rules.

ICAR-CRRI Agricultural Field Operator Salary 2026 

The selected candidate will receive a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 18,000/-. No additional allowances such as DA, HRA, or TA will be provided.

The selected Agricultural Field Operator will be responsible for:

• Supervising agricultural field activities from sowing to harvesting and threshing.

• Monitoring day-to-day field operations.

• Recording field, net house, and laboratory observations.

• Maintaining project-related data.

• Entering and managing data using a computer.
