Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Teacher Salary 2026

Candidates selected for the posts of PGT and TGT under the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Recruitment 2026 will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration as per the prescribed norms. The salary is fixed and purely consolidated, with no additional allowances or extra benefits provided.

• PGT Posts: ₹25,000 per month

• TGT Posts: ₹20,000 per month 

OAV Cuttack Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2026 

For PGT Posts:

• Two-year Integrated Post Graduate Course with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates) in the concerned subject;

OR

• Master’s Degree from a recognized university with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates) in the relevant subject; and

• A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree (a course prescribed by NCTE) from an institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized university.

• Proficiency in teaching in both Odia and English medium.

• Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application. 

For TGT Posts:

• Four-year Integrated Degree Course in the concerned subject from any NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates);

OR

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Science in the relevant subject with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates) along with B.Ed. / 3-year Integrated B.A. B.Ed. course prescribed by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized university.

• Proficiency in teaching both in Odia and English medium.

• Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application.
