This joint recruitment is being conducted under the supervision of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which acts as the coordinating agency for both KVS and NVS recruitment. The vacancies span multiple categories — from Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) to Principals, Vice Principals, and Non-Teaching Staff.

The official KVS & NVS Notification 2025 was published on 13 November 2025 through the CBSE portal, detailing post-wise vacancies, eligibility conditions, and exam procedures. KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025 Educational Qualification (Post-Wise)

  • PGTs: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. qualification from a recognized university.
  • TGTs: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with B.Ed. and CTET qualification; must have studied the relevant subject combination.
  • Primary Teacher (PRT): 10+2 with 50% marks and D.El.Ed./JBT/D.Ed./B.El.Ed. from a recognized institution along with CTET Level-I qualification.
  • Administrative Officer: Graduate with a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.
  • Finance Officer: B.Com with 50% marks and 4 years’ experience in audit/accounts or M.Com with 3 years’ experience.
  • Assistant Engineer (Civil/Electrical): Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Assistant Section Officer: Graduate in any stream with 3 years’ experience as Upper Division Clerk in government or public sector.
  • Senior Secretariat Assistant: Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years’ clerical experience.
  • Stenographer Grade I: Graduate with shorthand/typing proficiency and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Stenographer Grade II: Graduate with shorthand and typing proficiency in English/Hindi.
  • Junior Secretariat Assistant: 10+2 with typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi and basic computer knowledge.

The Selection will be based on for the post of Teaching and Non Teaching in KVS, NVS Recruitment 2025 are given below: 

  • Computer-Based Test (CBT): Objective-type exam covering General Awareness, Reasoning, English, Hindi, and subject-specific knowledge. 
  • Interview / Skill Test: Conducted for shortlisted candidates based on post requirements.

  • Medical Examination: Final stage to ensure fitness before appointment.

Step 2: Register Yourself: Click on the registration link and enter your name, email ID, and mobile number to create a login ID and password. Ensure that the details match your official documents.

Step 3: Fill the Application Form: Log in using your credentials and carefully fill in all required details such as personal information, educational qualification, and preferred post. Cross-check before moving to the next step.

Step 4: Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your passport-size photo, signature, and educational certificates in the prescribed format and file size mentioned in the notification.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee: Pay the application fee online using debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking options available on the portal. Keep the payment receipt or transaction ID safe for future use.

Step 6: Review and Submit: After completing all fields, preview your application to ensure there are no errors. Once confirmed, click the “Submit” button to finalize your registration. 

Step 7: Download and Print: After submission, download the confirmation page or acknowledgment slip and print a copy for your records. This will be required during the document verification stage.

  • For TGT, PGT, PRT, Assistant Engineer, Finance Officer, Administrative Officer, Librarian, Assistant Section Officer, and Junior Translator: ₹2000 for General / EWS / OBC candidates and ₹500 for SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen candidates. 
  • For Secretariat Assistant, Stenographer, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Lab Attendant, and MTS: ₹1700 for General / EWS / OBC candidates and ₹500 for SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen candidates. 
  • Payment Mode: Application fees must be paid online only through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Offline payment modes are not accepted.
