Odisha Fireman Exam Pattern 2025 

Odisha Fireman Exam Pattern 2025 will be conducted in an objective type (MCQ-based) format. The written test will consist of 100 questions carrying a total of 120 marks, and candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the exam. Each correct answer will carry marks as per the official scheme, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer as negative marking.

Odisha Fireman Physical Test Details 2025 

As per the previous Odisha Fireman Recruitment 2023, candidates must qualify in both Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to move forward in the selection process. The expected test details for 2025 are given below: 

Physical Measurement Test (PMT): 

For UR, SEBC Candidates

• Height (UR, SEBC): Minimum 168 cm 

• Chest (Unexpanded): 79 cm

For SC, ST Candidates

• Height: Minimum 163 cm 

• Chest (Unexpanded): 76 cm

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 

• 63 kg Sandbag carrying for 100 meters in 60 seconds 

• Rope climbing up to 6 meters using only hands (3 chances) 

• 100 meters swimming in 8 minutes  

• 1.6 km running within 7 minutes 

• High Jump – 1.22 meters (3 chances) 

• Long Jump – 3.66 meters (3 chances) 

• 5 km cross-country running within 25 minutes 

Odisha Fireman Salary 2025 

The selected candidates under Odisha Fireman Recruitment 2025 will receive salary and allowances as per the Odisha Revised Scale of Pay Rules, 2017 (ORSP, 2017). Firemen are appointed under Pay Matrix Level–4 with an initial basic pay of ₹19,900 per month. Along with the basic pay, candidates are also entitled to other admissible allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits as per Odisha Government rules.
