Post-wise Educational Qualification for OAV Recruitment 2025

For teaching posts such as TGT, PGT, and Computer Teacher, candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications as per OAVS guidelines: 

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): 

• Two years Integrated Post Graduate Course in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/PH candidates) or Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University with the same marks criteria along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from an NCTE-recognized institution. 

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): 

• Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/PH candidates) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University. 

Computer Science Teacher: 

At least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/PH candidates) in B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science/IT, or B.E./B.Tech in any stream with a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Information Technology, or MCA from a recognized University, or “B” Level certification from DOEACC/NIELIT with a Post Graduate Degree in any subject, or “C” Level certification from DOEACC/NIELIT with Graduation from a recognized University. Candidates must also have proficiency in teaching in both Odia and English medium. 

OAVS Teacher Salary 2025

Under the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Recruitment 2025, selected candidates will be offered a fixed monthly salary based on their post. Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) will receive Rs. 25,000 per month, while Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) will also be entitled to a salary of Rs. 25,000 per month. The salary for Computer Science Teachers has been fixed at Rs. 30,000 per month.
