ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification 

Candidates applying for ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2026 must fulfill the following educational qualifications: 

Young Professional-II

Essential Qualification: 

Candidates should possess a First Class Master's Degree with specialization in:

•  Environmental Sciences, or Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, or Agricultural Chemistry with thesis work. 

Desirable Qualification: 

Preference will be given to candidates having experience in:

•  Soil and air sample collection and analysis.

• Handling instruments like GC, GC-MS, and spectrophotometer.

• Scientific literature review and scientific writing.

• Data curation and analysis using MS Excel.

Field Assistant

Essential Qualification: 

• Candidates must have passed Class 10th and should have experience in agricultural field work and data entry using MS Excel.

Desirable Qualification:

Preference will be given to candidates having experience in:

• Soil sample collection and processing.

• Greenhouse gas (GHG) sampling and handling.

• GHG data entry and related field activities.

ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the Field Assistant, and Young Professional-II post is 35 years as on 3oth June 2026.  

Age relaxation will be provided as per rules:

• SC/ST Candidates – 5 Years

• Women Candidates – 5 Years

• OBC Candidates – 3 Years

ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2026 Salary

Selected candidates will receive the following fixed monthly remuneration:

• Young Professional-II – ₹42,000 per month

• Field Assistant (Project-I) – ₹22,000 per month

• Field Assistant (Project-II) – ₹20,191 per month

Note: Apart from the above remuneration, no additional allowances will be admissible. The engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
