Odisha KVNY Scholarship Yojana 2025: The Government of Odisha, through its Department of Agriculture and Farmer's Empowerment, has announced the Odisha KVNY Scholarship Yojana 2025 for students whose parents are beneficiaries under the CM-KISAN scheme. 


The Odisha Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana online form 2025 will be available on the State Scholarship Portal from 15th October 2025 to 30th November 2025, making it easier for eligible students to apply online and secure financial support for higher education. This initiative, implemented by the Directorate of Agriculture and Food Production, aims to provide financial assistance to children of small and marginal farmers (SF/MF) and landless agricultural households (LAH) to pursue professional and technical courses.

The Odisha KVNY Scholarship Yojana 2025 is designed to empower farming families by extending financial support to their children for professional and technical education. By assisting in courses like Medical, Engineering, Agriculture & Allied, Nursing, ITI trades, and other professional streams, the scheme enhances access to higher education for CM-KISAN students and boosts the social and economic status of farming households in Odisha.

Odisha KVNY Scholarship Yojana 2025 - Key Features 

The Odisha Krishi Vidya Nidhi Scholarship Yojana 2025 is merit-based and covers students admitted to government, private, and premier institutions within Odisha, as well as select national institutions like IITs, NITs, AIIMS, ICAR institutes, IARI, IVRI, and others. Students taking admission in self-financing courses in private institutions are eligible based on the capped fee structure. The scholarship also ensures that students cannot avail multiple scholarships for the same course. 

Eligible Courses under Odisha KVNY Scholarship Yojana 2025 

Under the Odisha KVNY Scholarship Yojana 2025, students can pursue professional, technical, and vocational courses in agriculture, medical sciences, and allied fields. The scholarship supports students enrolled in state-recognized courses within Odisha or in premier government institutions outside the state. Private institutions outside Odisha are not eligible. The list of eligible courses may be updated by the government.

  • ITI and Trade Courses: Various state-recognized trades and polytechnic programs 

Odisha KVNY Scholarship Yojana Eligibility Criteria 2025 

To be eligible for the Odisha KVNY Scholarship Yojana 2025, students must meet the following requirements:

  • The parent must be a beneficiary under the CM-KISAN scheme (either for cultivation support or livelihood support for LAH). 
  • The student must have admission on merit in a government or private institution with an AISHE code or in a premier government institute. 
  • Self-financing students are eligible based on the capped fees structure. 
  • The student should not be receiving any other scholarship or must transfer to the Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana if already availing another. 
  • Scholarship is allowed for one professional course only. 
  • Students from private institutions outside Odisha are not eligible.

The Odisha KVNY Scholarship Yojana 2025 offers financial support for professional, technical, and diploma courses, including MBBS, BDS, B.Tech, B.Sc Agriculture, Nursing, ITI trades, and postgraduate programs. Scholarships range from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 77,895 per year and are available for both government and private institutions in Odisha. Step 1: Register at https://scholarship.odisha.gov.in/ , if you are new user. Existing user can click on the login button. 

Step 2: Enter the Aadhaar number and Proceed. 

Step 3: Login in with your User ID and Password to apply for the scheme. 

Step 4: Click login link at the portal and enter User ID and password to apply the scholarship. 

Step 5: Please choose the Department name and Scheme name. 

Step 6: Provide all necessary details like student, academic, eligibility, and bank information. 

Step 7: Click on the “Save as draft” button to draft the information or click on “Next” button to save and proceed the scholarship form.
