The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a total of 120 vacancies for Officers in Grade ‘B’ across General, DEPR, and DSIM Cadres. The majority of posts are announced for the General Cadre (83 vacancies), followed by DSIM (20 vacancies) and DEPR (17 vacancies). RBI Grade B Eligibility Criteria 2025

Educational Qualification

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (General): Graduation with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR Post-Graduation with 55% marks.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DEPR): Master’s in Economics/Finance or related fields with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Doctorate degree preferred.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DSIM): Master’s in Statistics/Mathematics/Data Science/AI/ML/Big Data OR 4-year Bachelor’s with 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Ph.D. preferred.

Age Limit (as on 01.09.2025)

Minimum Age: 21 years

Maximum Age: 30 years

Age Relaxations:

SC/ST: 5 years

OBC: 3 years

PwBD: 10 to 15 years (depending on category)

M.Phil./Ph.D.: 32 & 34 years respectively
