Odisha Police SI Exam Date 2025 Out: The Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB), Bhubaneswar, has issued a fresh notification regarding the Odisha Police SI Exam 2025. As per the revised notice dated 06th September 2025, the OMR-based written examination for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector of Police and equivalent ranks under CPSE-2024 will now be conducted on 05th and 06th October 2025 across different districts of Odisha. 

Candidates who have successfully applied for the recruitment can download their Odisha Police SI Admit Card 2025 started from September 20, 2025 by logging in with their User ID and Password on the official website, odishapolice.gov.in. 

Odisha Police SI Exam Date 2025 

Earlier, the Odisha Police SI Exam was scheduled for 04th and 05th October 2025, but due to the Durga Puja Bhasani festival on 3rd and 4th October, many candidates raised concerns about reaching their centres on time. Considering this, the Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) has rescheduled Paper-III (Physics & Chemistry) to 06th October 2025 (10:00 AM to 01:00 PM), while Paper-I (General English & Odia Language) and Paper-II (General Studies) will continue as per the original schedule on 05th October 2025.

Odisha Police SI Exam Schedule 2025 (Revised) 

As per the latest notification, the Odisha Police SI Exam under CPSE-2024 will now be conducted on 05th and 06th October 2025. Paper-I (General English & Odia Language) and Paper-II (General Studies) will be held on 05th October 2025 in two different sessions, while Paper-III (Physics & Chemistry) has been shifted to 06th October 2025 in the morning session. Candidates are advised to carefully check the timings and prepare accordingly. 

Revise Exam Schedule: 

05th October 2025 (Sunday) 

• Paper-I: General English & Odia Language → 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM (90 minutes) 

• Paper-II: General Studies → 01:30 PM – 04:30 PM (180 minutes)

06th October 2025 (Monday) 

• Paper-III: Physics & Chemistry → 10:00 AM – 01:00 PM (180 minutes)

The Odisha Police SI Admit Card 2025 for the written examination was released on 20th September 2025 and is available for download on the official website, odishapolice.gov.in. Candidates must log in using their User ID and Password to access the hall ticket. The admit card contains essential details, including the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, shift, exam center, reporting time, and important instructions to be followed during the written examination.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Odisha Police: https://odishapolice.gov.in/. 

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link “Odisha Police SI Admit Card 2025”. 

Step 3: Enter your User ID and Password in the login section. 

Step 4: Click on the Submit button. 

Step 5: Your admit card will appear on the screen. 

Step 6: Download and take a printout of the admit card for future use.  

Odisha Police SI Selection Process 2025 

The Odisha Police SI Selection Process 2025 will be carried out in multiple stages to ensure a fair and transparent recruitment of eligible candidates. The process includes a Written Examination, followed by Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and finally Document Verification and Medical Examination. Candidates must qualify each stage to move on to the next, and the final merit list will be prepared based on overall performance in all stages. 

Stage 1 – Written Examination 

• Paper-I: English & Odia Language - 100 Marks - 90 Minutes

• Paper-II: General Studies - 200 Marks -180 Minutes

• Paper-III: Technical Paper (For Station Officer, Fire Service) - 200 Marks - 180 Minutes

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer

Stage 2 – PST & PET (Qualifying in Nature)

Only candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for the Physical Standards Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). 

Physical Standard Test (PST):

• Male (General/SEBC): Height 168 cm, Weight 55 Kg, Chest 79-84 cm 

• Female (General/SEBC): Height 155 cm, Weight 47.5 Kg  

• Male (SC/ST): Height 163 cm, Weight 50 Kg, Chest 76-81 cm 

• Female (SC/ST): Height 150 cm, Weight 45 Kg 

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• Male: 1.6 Km run in 8 minutes, Long Jump 3.66 m (3 attempts), 5 Km run (for SI Armed only) in 40 minutes

• Female: 1.6 Km run in 10 minutes, Long Jump 2.77 m (3 attempts) 

Stage 3 – Document Verification & Medical Examination 

Candidates who clear the PST & PET will be called for document verification and medical examination. The final selection will depend on the candidate’s overall eligibility, medical fitness, and performance in the earlier stages.
