Odisha Enumerator Work Details 2025 

The Enumerators will conduct digital surveys in 40 villages or 10 urban wards using a designated mobile app. Their work involves collecting data for two census projects: the 7th Minor Irrigation Census and the 2nd Census of Water Bodies. All fieldwork will be supervised by district-level officers. 

Odisha Enumerator Salary 2025

Enumerators under the Odisha District-Wise Enumerator Recruitment 2025 will be paid per village or ward surveyed. They will receive ₹900 per village for the 7th Minor Irrigation Census and ₹720 per village for the 2nd Census of Water Bodies. Additional allowances include ₹300 per village as Patwari allowance (for the MI Census), ₹750 as a one-time mobile device allowance, and ₹165 per day for training. No TA/DA will be provided. For 40 villages, the total estimated earning is around ₹78,045.

  • 7th Minor Irrigation Census: ₹900 × 40 = ₹36,000

The selection of Enumerators will be based on a merit list prepared after scrutinizing applications. Marks from Matric (10th) and +2/Intermediate will be considered with 40% and 60% weightage, respectively. In case of a tie, candidates with higher qualifications will be given preference. The provisional merit list will be approved by the District Level Sub-Committee, and the final engagement order will be issued by the Deputy Director (P&S), DPMU of the respective district.
